Martin is a Research Assistant at the Institute of General Management and Organisation at the Graz University of Technology. He is a Ph.D. candidate with a master’s degree in Business Administration. His research interests focus on the fields of Entrepreneurship, Business Models and Sustainability. In his dissertation, he investigates sustainability oriented business models of start-ups.
Besides tools and methods for the development of sustainable business models, his research also examines the drivers that motivate start-ups to embed social and/or environmental sustainability in their business models.
Martin works in the Entrepreneurial University project, with the aim of inspiring and embedding the entrepreneurial spirit in the minds and hearts of students and scientific employees of Graz University of Technology. In addition, he is part of the Gruendungsgarage, the Academic Start-up Accelerator in Styria, Austria and has been able to support more than 50 start-ups in the (pre-)foundation phase in the course of his consulting activities.
